Fire Extinguishers


Most premises require some fire-fighting equipment and for most that will mean portable fire extinguishers. But what sort and how many? In our experience many workplaces are either over-subscribed with unnecessary equipment or have the wrong type of extinguisher for the risks present. A check by us could prevent you paying for unnecessary equipment or more importantly save your premises from burning down.

Emergency Lighting


Emergency lighting is essential in most workplaces and something that should be incorporated at the design stage of any new premises. Whatever the case we can inspect and report on your needs.


Fire Alarms and Detection


An alarm system fitted to BS 5839 Pt 1 is a costly affair and proper design is essential.

In our experience, many systems are put into buildings by electricians and not Fire Alarm Engineers which results in inappropriate deviations and the fitting of excessive amounts of apparatus due to lack of understanding. There are now detectors for every kind of risk, many designed to exclude detection of different types of smoke to avoid false alarms.

We will supply you with a totally independent report of what is required in your premises; it may be you don't need one at all.
